In order to participate in the MS Challenge Walk, each team member is required to raise $1,500. Much of that is accomplished through individual team members contacting their own families, friends and business associates. In terms of team effort, the Blister Buddies hope to raise $50,000 for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
It isn't easy to ask for money, but when it comes to raising funds to help find a cure for a disease, asking for donations is necessary. Early on, members of the Blister Buddies team decided to make fund raising as much fun as possible.
Casino Night Scheduled for
April 12, 2008
Team members Rhonda Morrell and Mark Hussey are co-chairing the Blister Buddies' second annual Casino Night. This year's event will be held at Spinner's on John Fitch Highway in Fitchburg, MA.
Doors will open at 7:00 pm and admission is $5.00 per person. Each person will receive a $1.00 chip to get them started.

Charity Wine Auction
On Saturday, May 31, 2008 the Blister Buddies will partner again with the Rotary Club of Ayer-Harvard-Shirley.
The event will be held at the Bull Run Restaurant, Rt. 2A, Shirley, MA. Tickets are $25.00 per person and can be purchased by calling 978-425-4311.
The evening will kick off at 6:30 p.m. with wine & cheese tastings, light fare. Again this year the very popular and funny Sir Jeremy Bell will be offering a Chivas Regal Scotch Whiskey tasting.
There will be an ongoing silent auction of wine and other fun and fine items. The wine auction itself will begin around 8:00 pm and will feature rare & vintage wines.

Motorcycle Run
Still in the planning stages, the Blister Buddies are partnering with some of the great guys at Gervais Ford in Ayer, to plan our 2008 Motorcycle Run. Check back for more details!
