In order to participate in the MS Challenge Walk, each team member is required to raise $1,500. Much of that is accomplished through individual team members contacting their own families, friends and business associates. The Blister Buddies are one of the most successful fundraisers in the history of the Cape Cod MS Challenge Walk. We believe that is because we are able to support individual efforts with team supported fundraising events.
It isn't easy to ask for money especially in this economic environment. We know we need to be especially creative in our efforts. We'll update this page as our events are scheduled. Please check in from time to time to see if there is an event that you would like to support.
SUMMER BASH MS
On Thursday, August 4, 2011 from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., the Blister Buddies will host a SUMMER BASH MS fundraiser to help "Bash MS" for good.
The event will be held at Fruitlands Museum in Harvard, MA from 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm. Fruitlands has generously donated the use of their event tent and facilities along with a portion of the proceeds from the cash bar. In order to accommodate previously scheduled Fruitlands events, should it rain on Wednesday, August 3rd this event will be rescheduled for Thursday, August 11th. In the rare event there is rain on both August 3rd and August 10th, this event will not be held. Ticket sellers will have details regarding event dates as they relate to the weather.
Live music will be provided by the renowned band "Coming Alive" who are sure to get everyone dancing. There will be a cash bar and hors d'oeuvres will be provided by Dolce Restaurant located in Pepperell, MA.
