The 50 Mile, 3 Day, MS Challenge Walk

All of the literature on the MS Challenge Walk promises it will be a life changing experience. It is. The changes start long before setting a single foot on the Cape Cod trail. Our fundraising efforts have brought wonderful people into our lives. Through their generosity and caring the 200 miles we have walked and the 50 we will do this year are made easier.

MS touches many more people in our community than we ever imagined. With your help we will continue to raise the funding and awareness needed to find a cure for them. We need your help every step of the way. For more information on how to support the Blister Buddies go to our team page.

Charity ChowderFest!

On Saturday, February 27, 2010, the Townsend VFW will host and sponsor a Charity ChowderFest. Event proceeds will benefit the Blister Buddies MS Challenge Walk Team.

The Chowder Competition will feature local restaurants' chowder specialties. A $5.00 admission cost includes chowder tasting and entertainment provided by singer/songwriter Coretta Sellars with Neal Ward and musician Tim Rollo.

Outside the skating is free and there will be hot cocoa to help you stay warm. The event will run from 1:00 to 5:00 PM and will be held at the VFW Hall, Main Street, West Townsend, MA.

Please join us for some great music and chowda while helping support a great cause!

Blues 'N Brews

The Blister Buddies have once again been named as a benefiting charity of the 8th Annual Blues "N Brews Festival. This popular annual event draws visitors from all of New England and is put on by the Rotary Club of Westford.

The event will be held once again at the Nashoba Valley Ski Area, Westford, MA and we'll provide you with event information as it becomes available.

Other Events
The Blister Buddies plans for 2010 include the continuation of our "Dining to Donate" program. Previously this program was a great success for both the Blister Buddies and The Devens Grille, Devens, MA. We are looking for restaurants who are interested in hosting this type of event.
